Best Clothing Design Template Tools for Retailers

So you have some awesome clothing designs you can’t wait to show off to the world, and you’ve got your 5 star ecommerce store sorted out, but your problem is that you don’t yet have those products on hand to take some cool product shots. This can be a common problem for retailers who are using a print-on-demand service. Here are some of the best design template and clothing printing tools for retailers.

Redbubble

Redbubble is an online marketplace for print on demand products based on user submitted artwork. They offer a wide range of products which isn’t limited to clothing. They allow users to upload their artwork onto the following items:

  • 3 different styles of t-shirt including regular, scoop neck and vest
  • Drawstring bags
  • Leggings
  • Pencil skirts
  • Scarves
  • Hoodies
  • Sweatshirts
  • Tote Bags

Redbubble

This site is great if you want to be part of a bustling community that loves sharing ideas and designs. It’s also got a huge and varied range of products on which you can print – handy if you’re not just a clothing designer.

Spreadshirt

Spreadshirt offers a good range of different types of apparel to choose from including:

  • T-shirts
  • Hoodies
  • Aprons
  • Baby clothes
  • Polo shirts
  • Caps

The clothing designer tool is easy to use – you simply choose which product you’d like to personalise, and you will be presented with a preview of that product (you can also choose the colour at this stage). 

Spreadshirt

Next, you choose which design you would like to use to personalise your design – just choose the design you’d like, adjust the positioning, and then confirm by clicking “Add Design”. if you want to or you can also upload your own designs by clicking “Upload image” and selecting the file you want to upload.

The design tool will indicate the areas of the product which you can print on. For example, you can print on the back and front of t-shirts, as well as the sleeves.

Pixeden

Pixeden offer a wide range of clothing mockup tools, including this Polo shirt creator, which is one of the few polo shirt mockup tools available. Offering a high quality polo shirt template and an easy drag and drop function for your designs makes this tool a great option.

Pixeden also offers the following clothing options when it comes to mock up tools:

Banana Moon

Banana moon offers a wide range of clothing options, including the option to have clothing embroidered, which is something a bit different. There’s also a number of different brands to choose from, including Canterbury, Nike and The North Face.
